The Art & Motion of VJing at Lincoln Factory Detroit
Overview
In July 2025, I led The Art & Motion of VJing at Lincoln Factory Detroit for MoGraphMondays — a hands-on creative session exploring live visuals, Resolume Avenue, and custom beat-sync loops. This was an opportunity to share my love for motion, interactivity, and performance while connecting with Detroit’s creative community.
Tools & Topics
This hands-on workshop explored VJing with Resolume Avenue and Adobe After Effects, covering custom loop creation, beat-synced animation, and live visual mixing. Using my customized MIDI controllers, participants experimented with triggering visuals, layering effects, and syncing animations to music in real time.
I developed this Brochure (right) that overviews the various softwares, workflows as well as credits for the event.
Impact
Leading this session reignited my passion for teaching, sparked new creative connections, and inspired future workshops!
