HYMAN Gummies | 3D Character Animation
Overview
HYMAN Gummies is a 3D animation campaign promoting three product SKUs—All Day, AM, and PM. Each video showcased different activities consumers might enjoy while using the corresponding product, matching the intended effects of each gummy. The campaign was adapted for vertical for social media as well as horizontal for brick-and-mortar retail displays.
Project Goal
To support the launch of HYMAN Gummies with a fun, character-driven animation series. The key was to design one versatile 3D rig that could adapt to any gummy variant—color, size, or personality—and scale into a full cast of characters.

Process
The project developed organically in collaboration with Brand-On’s creative team. I began by storyboarding scenes to match each SKU’s vibe, then shared them with Robynn Verhaeghe, Brand-On’s Lead Graphic Designer. Robynn created the 2D Illustrator assets and environments that I later animated and brought into 3D space.
The breakthrough was building a procedural, adaptive rig for the gummy character—flexible enough to accommodate multiple body types, moods, and movements while staying true to a cohesive visual identity.

Impact
Produced a series of three animations for HYMAN’s social channels and retail display. The project’s playful, candy-colored aesthetic marked a departure from HYMAN’s usual style, helping broaden the brand’s reach and visual language.
This project was part of the larger creative push that helped HYMAN Cannabis win the 2023 ADCANN Award for Best Social Media. I’m proud that my animations played a role in that recognition.
